We are based on the East Coast of
Australia in Newcastle.
Newcastle is a 2 hour drive north of Sydney and is the centre of the
beautiful Hunter
Valley. We chose Newcastle for its relaxed life-style, its beautiful
beaches and its proximity to Sydney. The majority of our products are currently imported from South Korea and Japan, these two countries seem to be leading the world in robotics - particularly the development of small humanoid robots. These small humanoid robots are relatively cheap when compared to the humanoid robots developed by Sony, Honda, etc., but can still be used to teach the principles of robotic motion. We hope that the availability of these robots in our region will encourage the use of robotics in education and help develop a community of people interested in robotics. |

Tribotix was established in 2004 to introduce affordable robotic equipment to educational institutions in Australia, New Zealand and South East Asian countries.
